Villa Vauban

The 1873 villa with its contemporary extension is situated in the middle of a historic park. The collections consist of European paintings and sculptures from the 17th to the 19th century (Netherlands, France, Italy) and Luxembourgish works of art from the 19th to the 21st century. Permanent and temporary exhibitions as well as a varied programme of activities await visitors.

- Summer of '69. Works by Berthe Lutgen and Misch Da Leiden since the age of revolt

A guided tour across the urban art of Luxembourg City where we discover art works specifically created for the public space. Created from 1990 on, these art pieces are placed in the public space only for esthetic reasons without any commemorative purpose.
