11:00 (LU, FR & DE)
Official opening of the exhibition ‘Facets of Humanity. Works from the Teutloff Collection’ in the presence of the CNA team, followed by a tour of the exhibition and drinks. In 2025, the Centre national de l’audiovisuel proudly presents an inaugural look at the Teutloff Collection. The exhibition Facets of Humanity: Works from the Teutloff Collection, on display from 17 May to 21 September 2025 at DISPLAY01 in Dudelange, marks the first public unveiling in Luxembourg of art collector Lutz Teutloff’s holdings since their acquisition by the CNA in 2017.
Carefully researched, conserved, and documented by the CNA, this collection offers a contemporary perspective on the human condition. In doing so, it pays homage to—and resonates with—Edward Steichen’s enduring vision, exemplified in his seminal exhibition The Family of Man, which the Centre national de l’audiovisuel presents at Clervaux Castle. Timed to coincide with the 70th anniversary of Steichen’s landmark show, the exhibition at DISPLAY01 features a meticulously curated selection from the Teutloff Collection, illuminating universal themes through a modern lens and fostering a dialogue between past and present.

You will learn how to make a simple sheet of paper sensitive to light, then, with small objects, plants or flowers, you will create magical images using only the sun. That's blue magic for you!
