Luxembourg Aviation Museum

Mondorf-les-Bains

Since 2012, in the heart of the thermal park, the “Source Kind” Pavilion has been home to the first Luxembourg aviation museum. The museum pays tribute to the spa town, which in April 1910 hosted the first flight in Luxembourgish airspace, as well as to the pioneers of Luxembourg aviation.

The centrepiece of the museum is undoubtedly the “Klemm,” a monoplane built in 1934, perfectly restored, whose bright red wings attract all attention.

Do not miss the chronological introduction to the different disciplines: powered and gliding aviation, parachuting, aeromodelling, and more.

The exhibition of flying machines includes the oldest wooden aircraft that flew in Luxembourg in 1946, as well as microlight aircraft (ULM) and the very first hot-air balloon, the “Feierwon.”
