Programme

Samedi

10h00-18h00 : Mudam GO! Surprise
For the Luxembourg Museum Days, we have put together a little surprise package around the current exhibitions, containing activities that will allow you to learn more about the artworks and discover the imaginary and fascinating world of our exhibitions.
Available free of charge at the museum reception | Recommended from 6 years old | Family activity (minors must be accompanied by an adult)

10h00-18h00 : Ask Me
What kind of material is this? What’s the idea behind all this? Is this art? During the weekend of Luxembourg Museum Days, art mediators welcome you at Mudam to guide you through the museum. They can be easily identified by their ‘Ask Me’ Badge and are open to spontaneous discussions about art, architecture, the museum, its exhibitions – as well as about your personal thoughts on all of these topics! Just ask!

17h00 : Joanna Dudley. A Guided Tour of the Exhibition: For Soprano with Handbag (EN)
As part of the exhibition: William Kentridge. More Sweetly Play the Dance
This performance for museums has been developed by soprano Joanna Dudley with William Kentridge, who have worked together on numerous productions by Kentridge for the stage. The opposite of a traditional guided tour, this is a moment of pure poetic pleasure that puts artworks against interpretation as part of a theatrical mise-en-scène.
In English.
Fee: 20€
Booking required: more information

ONLINE ACTIVITY: 30 Seconds of William Kentridge (EN)

Based upon themes explored in William Kentridge’s work, these 30 seconds visits give a short and informative sneak-peek into the exhibition. Come and visit Mudam in person to discover the different links made. Published during the weekend on the museum’s Instagram account: @mudamlux.
